Isaac, a native of Spain residing in the ancient mountains of Competa, brings a heartfelt approach to his teachings. Despite undertaking numerous courses and training sessions, Isaac’s true essence lies in teaching with passion and authenticity. Specializing in Mindfulness and Meditation, he offers a comprehensive array of yoga practices, including Hatha, Kundalini, Vinyasa, and Yoga Nidra. Isaac’s classes extend beyond traditional yoga, incorporating Breathwork, diverse joint movements, balance postures, seat postures, and specific exercises for the abdominal girdle and basic balance in the arms. With a dedication to holistic well-being, Isaac guides his students through a transformative journey that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit.

Meet our professional boxing and fitness trainer: Kate Dakers! She trained national champions and is the founder of the first boxing school for women in the UK. She owns several British boxing schools for women. Currently she trains beginners, intermediate or advanced boxers in Competa, and she would love to train you! Merith
Merith, a highly experienced yoga teacher and masseur, brings over 10 years of expertise to her teachings. Originally from The Netherlands, she has found her home in the picturesque mountains of Competa. Merith specializes in a diverse range of yoga classes, including Vinyasa, Yin, easy yoga, power yoga, Yoga Nidra, and incorporates extensive practices in Breathwork, Mindfulness, and Meditation. In the relaxing yoga classes led by Merith, all postures are seated or lying down, held between 3 and 5 minutes. This allows for deep stretching of muscles and connective tissues, promoting increased flexibility both physically and mentally.

Every day Yoga: A transformative journey that encompasses a holistic blend of mindfulness, meditation, and various yoga practices. A special focus will be placed on Breathwork, exploring diverse breathing exercises to enhance your overall well-being.
We will engage in different kinds of basic joint movements, cultivate balance through various postures, and explore seated postures.
The retreat will feature meditation sessions to bring tranquillity to the mind and centre ourselves.
A significant part of our program involves working on the core of the body, emphasizing the abdominal girdle, and enhancing balance in our arms through carefully curated exercises.
Four boxing exercise classes: Boxing provides a complete workout involving various muscle groups, enhancing cardiovascular health, and helping alleviate stress. It’s an enjoyable activity that enhances confidence, sharpens mental focus, burns calories, and imparts self-defense skills while building a sense of community. But remember, it’s an exercise for your entire body and mind. It can be quite exhausting at times, but afterward, you’ll feel fantastic.

SATURDAY Personal welcome at Malaga airport and transportation to Malaga Hills. Check-in, welcome drink, and a short tour of the facilities to help you relax after what’s likely been a tiring journey. Diner. A self-guided walk to the village for an extensive three-course dinner. After dinner, a leisurely walk back to Malaga Hills. Nightcap. Engage in conversation at the Panorama Pool Bar and help yourself to a drink from the honesty bar. Sleep. And then, enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep. And, right away, you’ll experience the tranquillity and silence. SUNDAY Yoga: An hour-long yoga class before breakfast. Relax: Enjoy a refreshing shower or swim. Breakfast: Indulge in an extensive, personalized breakfast at the Panorama Bar by the pool. Free Time: Relax, soak up the sun, or make use of the facilities at Malaga Hills. Nature Walk: Starting at noon, we’ll embark on a walk to the neighbouring village Canillas de Albaida, taking a brief visit to the weekly local market in Cómpeta. Then, we’ll take a relatively short walk to Canillas de Albaida, a centuries-old village. It’s about a 1.5-hour walk, a beautiful start to ease into the experience. Lunch: We’ll have lunch at the idyllic square in the village. Return ‘Home’: After lunch, we’ll leisurely walk back to Malaga Hills. Relax: The afternoon is yours to enjoy swimming, sunbathing, or making use of the massage chair and library—essentially, just relax. Dinner: The taxi will be ready to take you to a lovely restaurant in our village. There, you’ll relish in a delightful three-course dinner. Transport: Maria will be back to take you to Malaga Hills. Relax: To appropriately conclude the evening, you can unwind at the Panorama Bar or perhaps take a swim or enjoy a book in the library. MONDAY hiking-group Malaga Hills Yoga: The day starts again with a yoga class. Breakfast: Then, you’ll enjoy a delightful breakfast and perhaps take a swim or sunbathe. Hiking: Maria, the taxi, will be ready for you again to take you to the starting point for an interesting 3.5-hour hike to the ‘abandoned village.’ Lunch: Lunch will also be arranged for you in the ‘abandoned village.’ Transport: You’ll walk back to the drop-off point where Maria left you and will be brought back to the hotel again. Relax: Time to relax by the pool and in the sun. In the late afternoon, a massage will be ready for you to fully relax your mind and body. Dinner: Transportation will be ready once more to take you on another delightful culinary adventure. Evening walk: After dinner, a simple walk back to Malaga Hills (approximately 15 minutes). Relax: Sunday evening is up to you; the bar, pool, library, and gym are open for your enjoyment, of course. TUESDAY hiking-group Malaga Hills Yoga. The day starts again with a yoga class. You’ll feel increasingly relaxed. Breakfast: Afterward, enjoy a delightful breakfast in the Panorama Bar. Boxing Class: Under the guidance of Kate, a special boxing exercise class begins. It’s an intensive session, akin to an extended workout, where laughter is often a significant part. Lunch: Lunch is served in the Panorama Bar of Malaga Hills. Hiking: Maria is ready to take you to the next intriguing trail for an approximately 4-hour hike. Dinner: Maria will take you to another charming restaurant in the village. Satisfied, you stroll back to Malaga Hills. WEDNESDAY hiking-group Malaga Hills Yoga: The day starts again with yoga and breakfast. Free Time: Enjoy some free time, making use of the facilities at Malaga Hills. Around 1:00 pm, lunch will be ready for you. Hands/Feet Care: Optionally. (not included in the treatment price) you have the choice to treat your hands and feet by Mel, our pedicure and manicurist, but you need to indicate this in advance. Beach: At 3:00 pm, Maria is ready to take you to the beach. Beach Walk: Embark on a long beach walk. Dinner: Dinner is also on the beach that evening. Relax ‘At Home’: At the end of this inspiring day, it’s time to relax again at Malaga Hills. THURSDAY hiking-group Malaga Hills Boxing: The day kicks off with another energetic boxing exercise led by Kate. Breakfast: Afterward, enjoy a delightful breakfast. Free Time Lunch: In de village. (walk) Museum. Visit the local Museum. Freetime. Intensive Yoga & Meditation Class. Transport: Evening. Maria will be ready to take you to a very special and enjoyable restaurant in Canillas de Albaida. Back ‘Home’: After dinner, you’ll, of course, be brought back home. Relax. FRIDAY hiking-group Malaga Hills Boxing: This final day starts with a boxing class led by Kate. Breakfast: Afterward, enjoy a delightful breakfast. Hiking. The Little Caminto del Rey. It has a gorge, it has a hanging bridge and it has beautiful scenery. Relax. The morning is yours to unwind at Malaga Hills. Lunch: A take-away picnic lunch. Transport: Maria will be there to bring you and take you back. Dinner: On the last evening, we have a beautiful dinner high up in our mountain village, with stunning views over the mountains and the sea. Last Walk ‘home’ You leisurely walk back to Malaga Hills and thoroughly enjoy your last night. SATURDAY hiking-group Malaga Hills Yoga: The farewell yoga class and the final champagne breakfast to conclude. Evaluation: We would like to go through this week with you, hoping that your mind and body are very different than when you arrived. But we already know that will certainly be the case. Transport: At 11 am, we’ll arrange transportation to the airport, wishing everyone a safe journey. Rewind and Full of Energy: You will come home completely renewed and full of energy.
